Other than attending training, how else can members acquire credit hours? A member can acquire credit hours through: Invigilation, marking, district meetings, pool setting, Syllabus review, Symposia, AGM, Annual Dinner & Award, Zonal Conferences, Faculty programme, etc.
How do I know that my credit hour has been awarded after a training programme? You can check your membership profile online at www.icanportal.org/members. Click on MCPD/Faculty and select MCPD Status. You may also call Members� Education and Training department @ 09053847539 or send a mail to met@ican.org.ng.

How do I get the training programme for the year? You can get the training brochure from the ME&T page on the Institute�s website or forward an email to met@ican.org.ng requesting for the programme. Also, you can get the hard copy at any of our offices in Lagos and liaison offices in Abuja, Kaduna, and Kano and any of the ICAN district societies across the nation and various ICAN events. Adverts with a summary of available programmes are also available in major ICAN publications.
How do I register for MCPD programmes? To register for a training, please log on to www.icanportal.org/members. Click on MCPD/Faculty and select "Apply for MCPD Seminar". Follow the prompts to register for the training of your choice. You may choose to make payment immediately or return to pay later.
How do I make payments for MCPD Programmes?
You can make payment using any of the following methods:
a. Visit www.icanportal.org/members. Click on MCPD/Faculty and select �Apply for MCPD Seminar�. Click on �Pay�. Follow the prompts. An SNO and PIN will be generated. Proceed with the registration and submit. Print the end page and take to the venue of the programme.
b. Go to any commercial bank of your choice and request to use the Pay Direct platform. Pay for MCPD training of your choice. SNO and PIN number will be given to you. Proceed to the website as above (a) and follow the prompt.
c. You may pay through Quickteller by visiting www.quickteller.com. Follow the prompt and generate SNO and PIN number. Proceed to the portal and follow the process as stated above.
d. Pay through WebPay.
