FURTHER EXEMPTION TO ICAN MCATI PROGRAMME
This is to inform tertiary institutions in Nigeria, particularly those offering Accounting course that the Governing Council of ICAN has reviewed its policy on exemptions granted to students under the MCATI  programme.

Now, students whose institution(s) are approved for the programme are granted exemption from eleven (11) subjects after graduation. That is, exemption from all papers in two (2) of the three (3) levels (Foundation and Skills) of the Institute’s Professional Examinations. This implies that they would proceed to the final (Professional) level of the Professional Examinations. The table of the new policy is as follows:

Skills level

(xi)Public Sector Accounting & Finance
